1. In short

  • The site sets one cookie of its own, gamira_consent, which remembers your cookie choice. It is strictly necessary and contains no personal profile.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Optional categories (analytics, external media such as YouTube) are off by default and only run after you switch them on. The first banner offers "Reject all" and "Accept all" side by side, so you can accept or reject optional categories without navigating through additional pages.
  • Fonts and all styling are hosted on our own server, so loading the site sends no data to Google Fonts or other CDNs.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
  • How we handle personal data beyond cookies, such as contact requests, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage or device identifiers, work in a comparable way. This policy covers all of them and calls them "cookies".

First-party cookies are set by the site you visit (gamira.tech). Third-party cookies are set by another service whose content is embedded in the page, for example a video player.

3. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary always on

Needed for the site to work and to respect your privacy choices. No consent is required for these (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive; Art. 4a of the Bulgarian Electronic Commerce Act (Закон за електронната търговия)).

gamira_consentGamira (first party)Stores your cookie-category choices so the site can remember whether optional functionality may be activated. It contains your selected categories, the date of your choice, a random consent ID and a consent-policy version, so we can ask again if we materially change the optional categories or their purposes. The random consent ID is used only as part of this local consent record; it is not used to identify you, build a profile or track you across websites. The record is stored only in your browser — we keep no server-side copy — and is not used for advertising or profiling.HTTP cookie6 months

(on our domain)Depending on the Cloudflare security features triggered for your connection, Cloudflare may set one or more of these cookies. __cf_bm distinguishes people from automated traffic; cf_clearance confirms that you passed a Cloudflare security challenge. Used only for security and fraud prevention, not for advertising or cross-site tracking.HTTP cookie30 minutes (__cf_bm); cf_clearance: determined by our current Cloudflare security configuration, and may change if we modify that configuration

Analytics opt-in

If you switch this category on, we count page visits with Umami Cloud, a privacy-focused statistics service provided by Umami Software, Inc., which acts as our processor (servers in the EU and the US). It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It records the page, the referring site, campaign tags in the page address (such as utm_source), browser, device type, screen size, language and country. Your IP address is used only for that visit, to derive the country and an anonymous visit identifier that changes every day; it is not stored in the statistics. Umami processes the data only on our behalf; nothing is sold or used for advertising or profiling. Browsers that send "Do Not Track" are not counted. Statistics are kept for 6 months.

External media opt-in

YouTube embeds are not activated until you consent to the External media category, either in Cookie settings or by pressing "Allow YouTube & play" on the video. Before consent, the page makes no requests to YouTube or Google for the embed. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain as an additional protective measure, but it does not replace your consent. Our own self-hosted videos need no consent and set no cookies.

4. Third-party content and links

Links to GitHub, email addresses and other websites are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from those services until you click them, and from then on their own privacy and cookie policies apply.

5. Hosting and security

The site is delivered through Cloudflare's network. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page. This is necessary to provide the site securely and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Depending on the Cloudflare security features triggered for your connection, Cloudflare may set the strictly necessary security cookies listed above. Their duration depends on the specific feature and our current Cloudflare configuration.

7. Managing your cookies

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through , linked in the footer of every page, where you can accept, reject or fine-tune each category. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If you withdraw consent, we delete the optional cookies we can reach and reload the page so embedded content is removed.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you block the gamira_consent cookie, the site will ask you again on each visit.

8. Withdrawal and your rights

You can withdraw cookie consent at any time as described above. Your wider data-protection rights, how to use them and how to complain to a supervisory authority are explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and contact

We update this policy when we add or remove a cookie or a service. When we materially change the optional categories, their purposes or third parties, we change the consent-policy version and ask for your choice again. The date at the top shows the latest version.
